Poornima's artwork was exhibited in an online show by Flaco Studio, an art gallery in Spain on the theme "DISCONNECTION".
The show was live between 20th May to 30th September 2020.
In the artwork, Poornima pairs the fetal figure with a modern-day device connected to a charging cord. She visualizes how this composition resembles that of the world we live in. It is symbolic imagery to express the metaphor that one form of 'disconnection' brought us to life whereas the other, took us away from it.
Were we only disconnected from one cord to be tied to another forever?
